Welding holes shut in all the inner panels that were drilled to at the dealer when the car was bought new to rust proof the car  There were about 70 holes in all the panels total
Passenger side bottom of quarter panel inner outter and splash shield had some rust.
All patched up and ready for finish work
The start of a very long process of getting the car straight. These panels are big and wavy
Dechromed and ready to start body work
Gutted
Cancer on the D.S dog leg
Rot cut out and blasted also found some damage in the door where they pulled it the old fashioned way. Had to weld those holes shut
Dog leg all patched up and ready for mud
Heres what was lurking under the paint on the P.S fender. Tons of bodyfiller over top of drilled and pulled metal. What a mess but typical of what you find during a resto All this got welded shut and fixed
More drill and pulls done on the middle of the fender. There was no excuse for these being there when you could access the back of the fender with no problem at all. Pure stupidity on the techs part who worked on this last. This mess was also welded shut adding many more hours of bodywork these welded on fenders.
Package tray rust holes patched up and ready for filler
Patching rot holes on both sides with nothing left to by
The new used weld on D.S fender. The orginal was hiding a serious mess under inches of body filler
Heres the D.S with the fender cut off
Off with the complete end of the fender to, cut to where the factory brazed on the fender.
Tacking and aligning the new fender, of course after removing the paint from the new old fender there was some damage on that as well....nowhere near the damage of the other fender thankfully
A thing of beauty...a good bodyline
Almost ready to fully weld her back on
CHECK BACK FOR MORE UPDATES AS THE RESTO CONTINUES!!!!
